Liverpool have signed a “perfect player” in new midfielder Wataru Endo. Endo joined the Reds last week in a rare expected move.

Although initially seen as a disappointing addition, it quickly became clear that the Japanese captain could be a very smart signing for Liverpool. The one who clearly agrees with this point of view is the Stuttgart legend Hansi Muller. Speaking to Germany’s Sport1 about Endo, Muller admitted the 30-year-old is “irreplaceable” to his former club.

“I was shocked when I found out that Endo had left VfB,” said the 66-year-old. “He was the heart and soul of the team, unfortunately he cannot be replaced individually because he is just a complete player.”

“If a player expresses his desire to fulfill his dream with England, you cannot stop him with all your might. Then he would be somewhere else and things would go wrong.

The more days until the transfer deadline, the more likely it is that a deal will happen for Liverpool. This is not welcome in many circles. After losing so many players from last season, the Reds only signed three. But on their own, they all seem like great assets to Red

Of course, the characteristics of Dominik Szoboszlai are obvious. Since his arrival at Anfield, the Hungarian has been praised from everywhere. Alexis MacAllister also speaks for herself.

The 24-year-old, a seasoned Premier League professional and World Cup winner, joins Liverpool. But Endo’s fit for a club of this size is a little less obvious. He is certainly not the superstar that the Reds would be under Moises Caicedo. However, there has been a lot of talk about him in the last ten days, and almost all of it has been positive.

Those who know him must respect him. Let’s hope he makes the jump easy.
