Liverpool face Newcastle United in the Premier League, so let’s simulate the FIFA 23 battle to predict the final result. Jurgen Klopp’s team continued to be disappointed.

Liverpool will be looking for two wins in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon with a tough visit to Newcastle United ahead. Goals from Mohamed Salah,

Diogo Jota and Luis Díaz secured Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth in their last game, their first league win of the season following Chelsea’s 1-1 draw on the opening weekend. But Sunday looks set to be one of the Reds’ toughest games of the season when Jurgen Klopp’s side take on St. James’ Park v Newcastle.

Last season, the Reds beat the Magpies 2-0 away, with Darwin Núñez and Cody Gakpo both scoring. Ibrahima Konate will not play in Sunday’s match after picking up a muscle injury. However, Alexis MacAllister is available again after his red card overturned last weekend. Can Liverpool get three points against Newcastle?

We simulated Newcastle and Liverpool to predict the score

To complete this simulation we used FIFA 23 and updated the teams with the latest injuries, transfers and suspensions. FIFA 23 does not know about leagues or numbers, so both teams are included in the 2022-2023 season. We think the Magpies could be 4-3-3:

We predict a 4-3-3 for the Reds and their line-up is as follows:

Cody Gakpo thought he had scored his first goal of the season in the 56th minute when he sent the ball past Nick Pope at the near post, but the striker’s clearance was ruled a cross and the goal disallowed.

After a quiet first half, Liverpool increased the pressure again after the restart and took a deserved lead in the 71st minute.

Salah did well to beat his man to the right and dive at goal before firing an early cross into the middle. The ball hung in the air, prompting Pope to come off his line, but the keeper misjudged and Díaz met the Englishman and bravely slotted the ball into an empty net. Gakpo came close twice in the next ten minutes and were sent home one on one,

but a great save and a wonderful final challenge kept it 1-0. Newcastle were rarely threatened in the last 30 minutes of the game, but a defensive error allowed the Magpies to equalize in the 89th minute.

Andy Robertson headed home the Newcastle man’s cross on the edge of the box, allowing the home side to attack the Liverpool defence. Alexander Isak was passed into the goal and his cross was answered in the penalty area by Joelinto, who ran past Alisson behind Trent Alexander-Arnold and made the score 1:1. Expected score in FIFA 23 game: Newcastle – Liverpool 1:1

FIFA 23 predicts that Liverpool can get a hard-earned point with a 1-1 draw against Newcastle in the simulation. Luis Díaz and Cody Gakpo played key roles in the win, with the latter sent off on several occasions, although poor defending allowed the home side to take two points from Klopp’s side.
