Liverpool are standing firm on their stance that Mohamed Salah is absolutely not for sale.

Over the past week, Salah has been connected to a major transfer to Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad. Journalist Fabrizio Romano said that the Reds are still obstructing the Egyptian’s exit, nevertheless. both openly and secretly.

Liverpool has made it clear every day on this issue that they have no inclination to bargain, despite the fact that there have been several rumors about Mohamed Salah’s future over the past few days, according to Romano in his Daily Breifing this morning.

With the organization and Jurgen Klopp reinforcing this following the Sunday game against Newcastle.

The bid is enormous for the Liverpool star and would lure any player in the world, but Liverpool have no intention of bargaining. Al Ittihad tried by improving their pay proposal to Salah.

“The Reds have made it very clear, both publicly and privately, that Salah is not for sale.”

Great news, although we’re still a little hesitant as the Saudis’ transfer window still has more than three weeks to run.

Liverpool reaffirm Salah stance

When asked about Salah’s future following yesterday’s incredible 2-1 victory against Newcastle, Klopp was in fact extremely clear.

As noted on Twitter by journalist Neil Jones, Klopp declared that the concern over Mo possibly departing for Al Ittihad has “gone away.” at least for the manager.

That’s an excellent, unmistakable sign that nothing is happening.

Of course, there are two sides to the question of whether Salah might ultimately depart. Liverpool can maintain their stance as long as they like, but if Mo wants to leave, they will be faced with a difficult choice.

Fortunately, there are no indications that the 31-year-old is currently looking to quit Anfield. He was crucial in the Reds’ dramatic victory over Newcastle yesterday, setting up Darwin Nunez for the game-winning goal.

That probably didn’t sit well with the Saudis given their association with the Magpies. And it appears that more unfavorable news regarding Salah is on the way for them.

Once more, until the Pro League window closes on September 20th, we won’t feel secure. But things seem promising. King is still alive.
