According to rumours, Joao Felix would not be eager to replace Mohamed Salah at Liverpool if the latter departs to Al-Ittihad before Friday’s deadline. Recently, rumors have surfaced tying the Egyptian winger to a transfer to Saudi Arabia. Al-Ittihad is apparently hoping to persuade Liverpool to sell the player in the upcoming days.

Al-Ittihad, a government-owned club in Saudi Arabia, has little trouble spending money on new recruits after signing stars like Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante this summer. According to CBS, they are currently preparing a massive offer for Salah in the neighborhood of £129 million in an effort to get his signature.

According to the Daily Mail, if Salah decides to leave the Reds before Friday’s transfer deadline, Jurgen Klopp has named Felix as a potential replacement. In the coming days, it appears that Liverpool will find it difficult to persuade Felix to go to Anfield.

Fabrizio Romano claims that if the former Chelsea loanee departs Atletico Madrid this summer, he has his sights set on a move to Barcelona. The Catalan giants are rumored to be interested in signing Felix but are instead concentrating on finalizing the acquisition of Joao Cancelo from Manchester City.

Felix recently emphasized that Barcelona was the only team he would choose to play for, saying: “I’d love to play for Barca. My top choice has always been Barcelona, and I would dearly love to join Barca. Since I was a child, it has always been my dream. If it occurs, it will be the realization of a dream for me.

Felix has also been mentioned in connection with a potential permanent transfer to Chelsea, according to 90min, who claim that Felix’s agents have kept in touch with the Blues throughout the summer. At the close of the previous campaign, they allegedly considered the possibility of bringing him back, but Mauricio Pochettino apparently asked them to shelve their plans.

After failing to secure Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, the Chelsea manager is reportedly warming up to the idea of signing Felix. The west Londoners also inquired about Arsenal playmaker Emile Smith Rowe, however the 23-year-old is not anticipated to leave the Emirates Stadium before Friday’s deadline.

It is still unclear whether Felix will ultimately join Barcelona or any other team before the transfer window closes. His choice is apparent, but if the Spanish champions ultimately decide not to pursue a move for his services, he might be forced to settle for a different option.
