Following Leicester City’s elimination from the Premier League last season, Wilfred Ndidi has been heavily linked with a return to the league this summer.

Following the club’s relegation from the Premier League last season, the 26-year-old is reportedly looking for a transfer out of the King Power Stadium.

Ndidi has appeared in each of their team’s opening few games this season, despite persistent rumors tying him to a transfer from Leicester City.

The six-year contract of the Nigerian international with Leicester is ready to expire, but there have been no discussions about extending it.

According to the most recent information, Ndidi might make his way back to the Premier League in the closing days of the transfer window.

To boost their midfield for their Championship campaign, Leicester City has already signed Cesare Casadei on loan from Chelsea and Harry Winks from Tottenham.

They oversaw the transfers of James Maddison and Harvey Harvey’s Barnes to Newcastle United and Tottenham, respectively, and they could potentially approve the move of Ndidi before the transfer window closes on Friday, September 1.
