Fabrizio Romano drops exciting morning transfer news every Liverpool fan will enjoy

In the wake of his upcoming arrival in Liverpool, Ryan Gravenberch is expected to soon be officially introduced as a Liverpool player.

In a Friday morning update on X, Fabrizio Romano stated that the Dutchman is scheduled to be in Merseyside shortly before perhaps signing a long-term contract that would last until the summer of 2028.

Should things go as planned, it means that the Reds would have spent £145.4m on a midfield overhaul, with the former Ajax man the fourth entrance this summer beyond Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo.

After being dealt a shocking hand when James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Arthur Melo left, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho accepted Saudi temptation. Since then, we have not only hired some quality replacements but, more importantly, a large number of them.

Romano shares what he's heard about 'phenomenal' Liverpool target

Not to mention Stefan Bajcetic, who shocked fans with his mature performances last season, we also have a reasonably stable base of young potential beyond that in the form of Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, both of whom won European championships for England at the U21 level.

We’d be negligent if we failed to recognize Thiago Alcantara’s amazing talents, who is undoubtedly our team’s most technically gifted player.

There are a lot of choices there that Jurgen Klopp and company will have to manage for the rest of the season.
