As expected, Trent Alexander-Arnold has stepped down from the England squad for their upcoming international fixtures. Jarell Quansah has also been withdrawn, from the U20 team.

The 66th player for Liverpool won’t be traveling with his international squad; instead, he’ll remain at home to rehabilitate from a hamstring injury sustained against Aston Villa.

It has been determined that the vice-captain’s injury is significant enough to keep him out of action for England’s games against Scotland and Ukraine. He had to be replaced after 71 minutes on Sunday.

Now that the international window has closed, Alexander-Arnold can be regarded as questionable for Liverpool’s Premier League encounter against Wolves, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 16, at 12.30 p.m. (BST).

Quansah, meanwhile, will continue to reside in Merseyside over the break. Liverpool made the announcement that he had left the England U20 team but provided no explanation.

Given that the U20s are merely scheduled for a training camp, this could indicate that he is injured or that it will be more advantageous for him to stay with the Reds for the next several weeks.

Ibrahima Konate is another player who is staying in Liverpool; he will miss the projected France matches due to his current injury layoff.
