Although the player wore countless different colored shirts during his 15-year playing career, the white and navy blue of Tottenham Hotspur remained close to his heart.

The Brazilian was a regular starter in the team during his four years at White Hart Lane, taking part in a number of star-studded clashes that helped establish the midfield cult hero on the pitch.

His bond with the side is so strong that the player has even been seen mingling away and mingling with fans during subsequent European tours.

Apart from Tottenham, the player also played in England for Queens Park Rangers and West Bromwich Albion after moving from Internacional in his native Brazil in 2010.

The former defensive midfielder is still a Spurs fan and even traveled to North London to watch the team take on AC Milan earlier this year.

The standout player is none other than Sandro, who made 106 appearances for the Lilywhites between 2010 and 2014 and has since cemented his status as a living legend at the club by continuing to support the North London outfit.

The 34-year-old even joined Spurs fans to support Antonio Conte’s side in their Champions League round of 16 clash with AC Milan at the San Siro.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted Sandro in the stands and he was captured in a video posted to social media delighting supporters by calling long-time rivals Arsenal.

The player previously played in the same tie 12 years earlier, when the team won against the Milanese in Milan to go up 1-0 on aggregate.

In the second leg of the match, the home side were held to a 0-0 draw in a match that was no match for the explosive first leg that saw Milan’s Gennaro Gattuso hit coach Joe Jordan. Sandro’s spell at White Hart Lane was hampered by a knee injury and despite winning a permanent place in the supporters’ hearts, he decided to move to Queens Park Rangers in 2014.

After leaving England in 2017, Sandro went on to play for Serie A Genoa and Udinese and Brazilian Serie B side Goias after signing with Antalyaspor in the Turkish Super League.

Sandro shared the announcement in a video posted on Instagram, filmed outside Ze Vasco’s academy, where he started his career as a child before moving to Internazionale to continue his development.
