The futures of Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe could be link.

The Premier League transfer window may now be closed until the new year, but a number of European clubs may be doing business in the Middle East and further afield. Saudi Pro League clubs have until tomorrow to get things done as Al Ittihad continue their pursuit of Mohamed Salah.

Reports this week suggested that a new world record bid of £215m has been presented to Liverpool to test their resolve. Liverpool have not made a statement so far, unlike when Barcelona made a bid for Philippe Coutinho in the summer of 2017.

FSG gave Barcelona a warning this summer and the club finally agreed to an astronomical offer in January of this season. Liverpool are said to be unwilling to sell Salah at this point, especially without the option of signing a replacement.

Elsewhere, Premier League clubs are moving their wingers to Turkey and elsewhere, with Davinson Sanchez and Tanguy Ndombele recently on their way to Galatasaray. And plans are already being made for the January transfer window to strengthen their squads. Express Sport is ready to provide the latest broadcast news.
