According to reports, FSG plans to add more teams to their portfolio, which now includes Liverpool, the Boston Red Sox, and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

In the meantime, FSG’s $1.6 billion plan to build a neighborhood around Fenway Park for the Red Sox was authorized this year. They also entered the golf industry by owning a franchise in the Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy-founded Technology Golf League and partnering with the Ladies Professional Golf Association on marketing initiatives.

At this time, FSG is apparently prepared to take over the American TV network AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh. Warner Bros. Discovery Sports are allowing John Henry and company to conclude the acquisition “within the next few weeks,” according to the Sports Business Journal (via CBS).
