Ryan Gravenberch was interested in playing for Manchester United during the transfer window, but he has always had his heart set on joining Liverpool this summer.

The Athletic claims that Bayern Munich only modified its position over the sale of the Dutchman 72 hours prior to the deadline.

Despite his difficulties, he was getting a lot of attention. Evidently, Liverpool was eager to acquire Gravenberch. However, Manchester United was also interested in him as they searched for a center midfielder of their own.

Even if Manchester United was interested, Gravenberch only had eyes for Liverpool.

The Athletic, however, claims that Gravenberch solely had Liverpool in his sights. Before the deadline, Erik ten Hag would finally get Sofyan Amrabat.

According to The Athletic, several Liverpool employees have drawn comparisons between Gravenberch and Gini Wijnaldum. Prior to the switch, he spoke at length with Cody Gakpo and Virgil van Dijk.

And it appears that the child was quite interested in the opportunity to work with Jurgen Klopp. Gravenberch has previously been called a “exceptional” talent by Klopp.

Liverpool deserves a lot of praise for how they entered the window. They lost a large number of midfielders who were crucial to the team in the past.

And it appears that the new guys have a lot of potential. Dominik Szoboszlai has gotten off to a great start in Merseyside. Additionally, Alexis Mac Allister has Premier League experience.

Wataru Endo has the potential to be a signing that is overlooked. And Gravenberch is incredibly talented. Therefore, there is already a fascinating group in the heart of the park for Liverpool.

Given how little time Gravenberch has, it might take a while.
