Highly-rated teenage defender Luka Vuskovic is set to join Tottenham.
A number of clubs including Liverpool, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have all been linked with the towering centre-back.
Vuskovic broke into Hajduk Split’s first team in the spring, despite only turning 16 in February, when he played a part in his side’s Croatian Cup win. During that campaign, he became Hajduk’s youngest ever goalscorer just five days after his 16th birthday.
Spurs won the race to secure his signature after success in negotiations at the weekend, with personal terms agreed.
Due to his young age, Vuskovic will remain at Hajduk until the age of 18 to continue his development before moving to North London. This means that his move should take place in the summer of 2025.
The transfer fee involved in the deal has not been confirmed but is said to be around £12m.
