Rayssa de Freitas claims she needed hospital care after being assaulted by Antony and a lady in May 2022; Antony spoke on Brazilian network SBT to reject charges; Anthony has agreed to postpone his return to training with Man Utd till further notice.
Following the international break, Antony won’t start working out with Manchester United right away due to assault allegations.
According to Sky Sports News, Antony has been given a leave of absence with full pay and is not being suspended. Man Utd will keep an eye on the circumstance as it develops.
Following the first accusations made by his former girlfriend Gabriela Cavalin, the winger was released by Brazil earlier this week. He later went on Brazilian TV to refute the accusations.

A statement from the club read:
“Manchester United acknowledges the allegations against Antony. Players who have not been involved in international games are due to return to training on Monday. However, it has been agreed with Antony that he will delay his return until further notice to deal with the charges.”
