The experts have made their predictions for Liverpool’s away Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.

A quartet of pundits predict Liverpool will run away from Molineux with a win on Saturday – including Robbie Savage and Paul Merson, who hail the impact of Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Reds travel to face Wolverhampton Wanderers as they look to maintain their unbeaten run in the Premier League in this weekend’s opener on Saturday. In the international game, they won against Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Bournemouth, and played away at Chelsea.

If they are to maintain that positive run, they will have to do so without the suspended Virgil van Dijk and the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold and Thiago Alcantara, as Jurgen Klopp confirmed on Friday.

However, the country’s experts ultimately believe that will not be a problem for Liverpool against the team currently 15th in the league under former Reds Academy coach Gary O’Neil. Writing for BBC Sport, former Premier League winner Chris Sutton was confident Liverpool would win 2-0 tomorrow. He said: “I think Liverpool are the closest challengers to Manchester City this season and things seem to be going

Their way.

“Keeping Mohamed Salah despite interest from Saudi Arabia was huge. The Reds striker is excellent and I like the look of their new midfield too.

“Wolves aren’t playing badly and were a bit lucky to lose to Crystal Palace before the international break, but I can’t see them keeping Liverpool away.”

Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov also admitted that his former rivals will take three points this weekend and also predicted 2-0. The Bulgarian told Metro: “Wolves are not doing so well at the moment. Liverpool will be favourites, I can’t deny that, although there could be problems with Van Dijk’s suspension.

“I think his ban is ridiculous – the referee should talk to the players. When you talk to them, you make the players angry, especially the big ones.
“Talk to him calmly, explain the decision and he will respect this decision. You need to point out what the player did wrong. However, I think Liverpool will beat Wolves.”

“Liverpool are in good form and will win again,” said the former midfielder. – You know that Jurgen Klopp’s team is in transition, they have integrated young dynamic midfielders and they look very good.

“Szoboszlai is a fantastic signing and I think he will get a goal in Liverpool’s away win. I’m going for Liverpool to win 2-0 and Szoboszlai to score.”

Merson had similar words to sportskeeda who praised Liverpool for their 8th performance. He said: “A handful of new signings set the stage for what was to come. Dominik Szoboszlai was the best for me.

“I haven’t seen much of the lad at RB Leipzig but I have to say he’s impressed me so much he hasn’t had a bad game yet! He won the World Cup the other day and he’s scoring goals. A bit of everything. , he’s for Liverpool for years phenomenal.

The former Arsenal footballer turned pundit was the first to believe the Reds could not keep a clean sheet, suggesting a 2-1 away win. He had difficulty explaining the schedule of this match.

– It is always difficult to call the Saturday morning match after the break of the national team, because most of the players – at least from the so-called best – go to represent their country. Liverpool have to be careful about that, Merson warned.

“It will be particularly difficult for South Americans like Alexis Mac Allister and Luis Diaz, but the Reds can get away with a few substitutions. Mac Allister is likely to start, but Liverpool can allow Benko Diaz with Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota. Both scored for their country on the break score – waited patiently in the wings.
“Wolves, on the other hand, have had a difficult start to the season, so I don’t see them getting a result here. They don’t score too many goals, so even if Liverpool go in, they won’t go in. It’s hard to do. beat the home team.”
