Following the international break, Liverpool will travel to Wolves in Saturday’s early kickoff to resume Premier League play.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have come through difficult scenarios to take ten points from their first four games, dealing with red cards to Alexis Mac Allister and Virgil van Dijk to win three games in a row.

Liverpool predicted lineup vs Wolves (4-3-3)

GK: Alisson – Did not play in Brazil’s 1-0 victory over Peru after watching his rival Ederson start Bolivia’s 5-1 thrashing.

Joe Gomez, a running back who is currently enjoying a strong run of games, may be used at right-back with Trent Alexander-Arnold out with a hamstring injury.

Wataru Endo, a central defender for the Reds, might be given his second start as a result of Klopp’s lack of other options. Ibrahima Konate, who trained with the team for a few days while Virgil van Dijk was out on suspension, is expected to be available and might take Virgil van Dijk’s place in the starting lineup.

Joel Matip, CB has started Liverpool’s previous two games, and in the 3-0 rout of Aston Villa, he assisted his team in keeping its first clean sheet of the year.

LB: Andy Robertson – Assisted Scotland in keeping up their push for Euro 2024 qualification during the break before being forced to face reality with a 3-1 loss to England in a friendly.

Dominik Szoboszlai, who scored his first goal for Liverpool against Villa, then played for Hungary in qualifying against Serbia and Czechia.

CM: Alexis Mac Allister has primarily filled the central midfield position, but the addition of Endo would allow the Argentine World Cup champion to advance in the final third.

Curtis Jones, CM He enjoyed making his first start of the year versus Villa after not playing since the 1-1 draw with Chelsea on the season’s opening weekend.

RW: Mohamed Salah – So far in the league, he has contributed two goals and two assists in each of the four games.

ST: Diogo Jota – Darwin Nunez’s electrifying double against Newcastle has re-invited him to the starting lineup, but given Jota’s start and Nunez’s recent trip to South America, Nunez may be better off introducing his erratic energy from the bench.

Luis Diaz, left wing, assisted Colombia in earning four points from their opening two World Cup qualifiers.
