Jurgen Klopp had to mix up his pack for Liverpool’s trip to Wolves, with three changes to his Molineux starting line-up.
“A joke,” Klopp described the schedule after the 12.30 international break.

This, along with suspensions and injuries, prompted the Liverpool manager to change the Wolves squad, although the squad is still very strong.
Alisson will start despite a late return to training after his Brazil duties, having only traveled to South America to warm the bench against Bolivia and Peru. Trent Alexander-Arnold’s absence through injury means Joe Gomez moves to right-back, while Jarell Quansah makes his debut for the suspended Virgil van Dijk.
Joel Matip and Andy Robertson complete the back four, with Alexis Mac Allister in the No.6 role.

In midfield, Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones, who were key to a compact and efficient game last time out against Aston Villa, have improved.

Like Alisson, both Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez have barely trained after away trips to Colombia and Uruguay, meaning Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo will join Mohamed Salah’s attack.

However, Diaz and Nunez are on the bench along with newly signed Ryan Gravenberch. Liverpool: Alisson; Gomez, Quansah, Matip, Robertson; MacAllister, Szoboszlai, Jones; Malĝuste, Jota, Gakpo

Squad: Kelleher, Endo, Konate, Diaz, Nunez, Elliott, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, Bajcetic

Hundid: Sa; Semedo, Dawson, Kilman, Ait-Nouri; Gomes, Lemina, Bellegarde; Neto, Hwang, Cunha
