Liverpool star Ryan Gravenberch made his first start for the club against LASK in the Europa League last night, with Ian Rush and Matthijs de Ligt looking to really impress.

The Austrian outfit made the Reds work yesterday. The hosts were arguably better in the first half, but Jürgen Klopp’s men showed their class after the break.

The Reds have been tracking the Dutch midfielder for a long, long time, but it took time for the German champions to land the 21-year-old.

Liverpool finally got their man and Jurgen Klopp handed Gravenberch his first start for the Reds last night against LASK in Austria. Despite a difficult first half for the whole team, the Dutchman made a stunning impression after the break and set up Luis Diaz’s winner in the 63rd minute.

All in all, it was a good feature debut for Gravenberch. His international teammate Matthijs de Ligt and Liverpool legend Ian Rush were both impressed by his display.
This is what they replied under her Instagram post.

This is just the beginning for Ryan Gravenberch at Liverpool. Still only 21, the Dutch youngster is a phenomenal talent. Klopp loves him dearly and after his assist yesterday we’re sure we’ll be seeing more of him in the coming weeks and months.

Liverpool next face West Ham United in what will be a very difficult game for the Reds. A lot of changes are expected from Klopp in the Europa League, but we have a feeling that Gravenberch could keep his place in the side.
It will be interesting to see how he does when he starts this weekend.
