Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will be looking to make it five Premier League wins in a row against West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds will be looking to continue their good form after beating Wolves 3-1 last weekend, despite conceding an early goal.

Klopp’s record is good, having lost just once in their last six meetings with the Hammers, with the only loss coming at the London Stadium in November 2021.

Former Arsenal man Paul Merson has predicted a tough encounter between the two sides, who both played in the Europa League this week.

Ahead of the clash, the Sky Sports pundit believes the Anfield crowd will help the Reds take all three points on Sunday. ANOTHER LIVERPOOL STORY

“Liverpool embraced style after the Wolves break and looked much better after signing Luis Diaz from Alexis MacAllister.

“Things didn’t go their way in the first half, but Jurgen Klopp made some tactical changes at half-time as they clawed their way back into the game.

“I expect Liverpool to pick it up. Playing at Anfield is a big advantage for them in the UEFA Europa League in Austria.

“I think Darwin Nunez will start ahead of Cody Gakpo. The Uruguayan is calmer and more direct, while the latter braids everything and brings others into the game.

They are both talented players, but Nunez is better suited for this game. On the other hand, Mohamed Salah may not score too many goals, but you can never take him out of the game, as we saw against Wolves when he provided two assists.
