BBC pundit Chris Sutton insist Mohammed  Salah should “come out and say he’s STAYING”,

Saudi Arabian Pro League champions Al-Ittihad are desperate to sign Mohamed Salah

Chris Sutton has called on Mohamed Salah to come out and end speculation over his future amid ongoing links with Saudi Arabia Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

Top players from around the world have arrived in the Middle East this summer, with the country’s leading airline betting on stars such as Neymar, Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Sadio Mane.

However, the Reds confirm that the Egyptian is not for sale and hope to hold out until Thursday, when the Saudi transfer window closes.

Former Premier League winner Sutton spoke on Mail Sport’s It’s All Kicking off podcast, where co-host and football reporter Ian Ladyman asked what he thought would eventually happen to Salah, who scored in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

“Is he staying or going?” Sutton said. – The bottom line is that Mo Salah can sleep it himself, can’t he?

“So Jurgen Klopp came out and said we think he will stay.” Szoboszlai came out and said we think he will stay. We hope he stays.”

“Mo Salah can only (say he will stay). And the question is, why not him? “He could make everyone’s life easier.”

Ladyman – who wrote about the matter in his Mail Sport column last week – echoed Sutton’s stance on the matter, saying: “I couldn’t have put it better myself. I think maybe you (Chris) should come and sit next to me at the table.” before adding: “I think he’ll be worth it.”

He said, “We block it, Mo blocks it. Let other people talk about it.

– It is not a concern for us. For us, Mohamed Salah is a Liverpool player and we believe it will remain so for the foreseeable future. “Our team is what it is and it’s a team that will continue now that the window is closed. It’s about getting the most out of the team, looking forward to next season and trying to do better than last season.

“He is the best professional. He does what he does, he is one of the best players in the world and he is a professional.

Robertson continued: “He lets other people talk, lets other people say what they have to say, but he’s always been committed to Liverpool and you saw that in that performance.

– He had no effect. I was with him a lot and nothing affected him. Mo responded in the best possible way and I think you saw that in his performance and I think he was pretty special.

Just before the match with Villa, Klopp said he was not concerned about Salah’s focus, despite continued speculation he could join Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he is not worried about Salah leaving the club for Al-IttihadThe Saudi Arabian champions are managed by former Wolves and Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

After a confused look before laughing at the question, he said, “I didn’t have to. It was a media story and it never came out.

– I have a big desk in my office, there are a lot of papers, a laptop, an iPad, everything you need. None of them are concerned with this news. I have a lot of other things to do and we didn’t think about it.

“Mo was completely normal, a good week of training and nothing to think about from my point of view.”

Liverpool have collected 10 points from their first four games of the season and will return to action away to Wolves on September 16 after the international break.
