The BBC Sport pundit claimed the 22-year-old is a superb player and found himself going past players with ease. Warnock said of Szoboszlai on BBC Radio 5 Live (2.16pm, 24 September 2023): “I think he’s a great footballer.
“When it comes to the all-around game, he looks like a pretty good player athletically.
“He runs past players. He has second, third and fourth gear to take it. He sees the pass and can complete the pass.”

Dominik Szoboszlai is one of the best young players and the midfielder has made an immediate impact at Liverpool since joining in the summer transfer window. The 22-year-old is an imposing figure who can hold his own in the middle of the park, create chances for team-mates and threaten with the ball at his feet.
Szoboszlai is only 22 years old, but he plays with a maturity that not many his age possess.
