In the Reds’ first domestic cup game of the campaign, they will meet a familiar face in Leicester, who they played against in the 2021/2022 season en route to lifting the cup.
The Foxes are currently top of the Championship table as they look to return to the top flight at the first time of asking and Pep Lijnders has admitted they will face a tough opponent. We thought we could put them away for at least one campaign, but the third round draw had something to say about that, now let’s see if the Reds can get the job done tonight without penalties.
