Liverpool returned to their AXA training center hours after coming from behind to beat Leicester as they look to beat Tottenham, who are unbeaten in the league so far this season.

Jurgen Klopp made sure the players who didn’t play last night got back to work and those who did had the chance to make the most of the two days they have before they leave on Friday night.  T

The Reds are second in the league table, just two behind leaders Manchester City, and will be looking to mount another title challenge after being relegated in the last two years.

New signings Dominik Szoboszlai and World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister have come in and transformed the club’s midfield, while Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah continue to look effective at both ends of the pitch. Klopp saw Manchester City withdraw from his squad and the emergence of a new Arsenal also loosened their grip as the league’s second power. The Reds’ start to the season has brought a good feeling and sources say their training session today was largely about recovery and preparing the players physically and mentally for Saturday’s test.

Spurs are not fazed by a strong start and news of midfielder James Maddison’s return to training has lifted spirits ahead of what should be an incredibly competitive game on Saturday.

The Lilywhites twice hit back from behind to earn a point against rivals Arsenal and will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
