‘‘All done’: Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano drops Liverpool transfer target and West Ham star Jarrod Bowen

All done’: Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports news on Liverpool transfer target and West Ham star Jarrod Bowen

Fabrizio Romano has announced on Twitter that Liverpool transfer target Jarrod Bowen has agreed a new contract with West Ham United.

The 25-year-old has long been touted as someone who could replace Mohamed Salah at Liverpool.

After those well-documented Saudi links, the doors are more likely to knock again in the summer, which only increases the Egyptian star’s chances of heading for the exit.

In any case, Jarrod Bowen’s name has come up on Liverpool’s transfer radar a few times, most recently when talkSPORT reported that Merseyside’s Newcastle United and Eddie Howe were on the lookout when his contract negotiations stalled.

Well, Fabrizio Romano put it on Twitter on Saturday night, claiming Jarrod Bowen’s new long-term deal with the Hammers is “all done” – something actor and West Ham fan Danny Dyer will surely be delighted about. He found the England international dating his daughter “incredible”.

If the worst case scenario comes true and Mohamed Salah leaves, Liverpool will now have to look elsewhere.

“Bowen wanted to remain an important part of the project. Jarrod said yes to the final offer.

Life after Salah for Liverpool

If it were up to the Anfield faithful, they would want Salah to end his career in their colours.

But with the money Saudi Arabia currently has and the project they are building, there are fears the 31-year-old will be gone sooner rather than later.

Although legendary figures such as Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Sadio Mane have left.

There is no doubt that Salah’s potential departure will hurt the fans the most, as of today he can legitimately claim to be Liverpool’s greatest ever XI.

But none of that has happened yet and Salah will be hoping to lead this Liverpool 2.0 on a new adventure to win the big prizes.
