Today’s Premier League match between Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion was simulated using EA FC 24 to explain the results.

Today, Liverpool travel to Brighton and Hove Albion to try to continue their winning ways in the Premier League.

Liverpool beat Union St. in the Europa League on Thursday thanks to goals from Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota. Gillies 2-0, the top spot of the Reds in Group D with two straight wins. It was vital for Jurgen Klopp’s side to pick up three points on Thursday to regain winning form from last Sunday’s controversial Premier League defeat to Tottenham.

Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross does not believe his side’s participation in the Europa League is to blame for their inconsistent performances. The Seagulls are on a clean sheet after 10 games this season and have won just one of their last five matches.

However, Albion showed resilience after coming from 2-0 down to force a 2-2 draw in France in Marseille on Thursday night. Gross, who scored goals, is still not satisfied. Ahead of today’s visit of a fiery Liverpool side, he remarked: “We’re not playing our best football – not even close.”

“Yes, we play more games, but we also adapt to player losses, new players and injuries. We had great performances, beat top teams like Newcastle, won at Old Trafford, scored three goals against everyone. So I feel incredible buoyant and confident. The Seagulls beat the Reds 3-0 in their last Premier League game and the Reds lost 2-1 to Brighton in the FA Cup last season. Brighton are looking to bounce back from last weekend’s 6-1 defeat against Aston Villa.
