Roberto Firmino has published a new book about his eight years as a Liverpool player
Roberto Firmino has promised his supporters a new book containing details and stories from his eight-year Liverpool career.
Firmino has been a fan favorite throughout his successful career at the club. He signed from Hoffenheim for £29 million in 2015 and arrived as an attacking midfielder under previous manager Brendan Rodgers.
But it wasn’t until Jurgen Klopp got his hands on the Brazilian that his true potential finally unfolded. Transforming into a centre-forward, he became an attacking, goal-scoring demon, redefining the role and causing defensive nightmares. To this day, Firmino is the German coach’s most used player during his time at Anfield. He played a total of 355 matches followed by James Milner’s 323 matches.
Now, however, the 32-year-old’s time at the club is over. It had an emotional ending when he scored the equalizer against Aston Villa at Anfield before his contract expired at the end of last season.
Firmino’s aura, which had the Reds crowd singing his popular song at every moment, will be missed, but the future is not bleak. Supporters can expect new faces such as Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo, while Firmino himself has been offered a chance to reminisce in his new book titled Si Senor: My Liverpool Years. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, she said in a video: “I want you to know something!

Former teammates and coaches reacted to the news, commenting their support. Jordan Henderson – who likes Firmino and now plays in the Saudi Pro League – responded with clapping hands and heart waves. The old Reds captain also presented an autobiography about his career in 2022.
Brazil’s Lucas Leiva and goalkeeper John Achterberg also responded to the news with fire, clapping and hearty smiles.
