“I mean, a frustrated player/person that feels like we could all do better and feels like they can change the game, I understand that,” Dak said Friday.

He is a young player who is growing every day and will only get better.

In each of Parsons’ three seasons, the All-Pro quarterback played less and less quarterback, his position in college.

In his rookie season, Parsons averaged 31 goals per game.

Last season, that number fell to ten.

In five games this year, that number has dropped to 4.6.

It will be interesting to see how much of a change Quinn demands from Parsons given how impressive he has been on the defensive line.

It seems like most opposing offensive coordinators would like to keep Parsons off the offensive line as much as possible.

Some of the other linebackers include Malik Jefferson, a member of the team’s three practice squads, and recent signings Rashaan Evans and Mikel Jones.

Dallas Cowboys’ Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb meet to discuss frustrating times – Jonathan Alfano, Fan Nation

The two players met this week to iron out any potential issues, and Prescott told Lamb: “If you have a problem with something, come to me and we’ll talk about it.”

“I mean, a frustrated player/person that feels like we could all do better and feels like they can change the game, I understand that,” Dak said Friday. “I really do. So it just means dealing with him … … CeeDee is a guy I’ll never lose faith in and I trust who he is and I understand why he’s disappointed.

“But at the end of the day, he’s a leader. It’s about him managing other guys and picking other guys and just trying to make sure we all do our best. It’s disappointing, we have to get rid of it. And he does. He is a young player who is growing every day and will only get better. He is better for it. Frustrating times.”

In each of Parsons’ three seasons, the All-Pro defender has played less and less linebacker, his position in college. During his rookie season, Parsons averaged 31 snaps per game at linebacker. That number dropped to 10 last season. Through five games this year, that number is down to 4.6. It’ll be interesting to see just how much of a change Quinn will ask from Parsons, considering how impactful he’s been on the defensive line. It would seem like most opposing offensive coordinators would prefer to have Parsons away from the line of scrimmage as much as possible. Some of the other linebackers include Malik Jefferson, a member of the team’s three practice squads, and recent signings Rashaan Evans and Mikel Jones. Jefferson is expected to be on the active roster for Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Evans and Jones likely won’t be ready right away.

Cowboys on major injury report for Monday Night Football game against Chargers – Calvin Watkins, Dallas Morning News

Tackle/guard Chuma Edoga (illness), special teams ace C.J. Goodwin (chest), defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins (rest/illness), safety Juanyeh Thomas (hamstring) and linebacker Leighton Vander Esch (neck) did not practice.

Goodwin and Vander Esch are headed to potentially injured reserve, with the official transfer taking place before Monday’s game at the Los Angeles Chargers.

Edoga and Hankins are good fits for the Chargers, but Thomas is the problem. If Thomas, who plays primarily on special teams, somehow participates in Saturday and Sunday’s passing practice, he could be ready for the Chargers game. Linebacker Damone Clark was limited in practice with a shoulder injury. It’s the second day in a row that Clark has been listed on the injury report as limited should he play.

Source: 49ers’ George Kittle fined more than $13,000 for mocking Cowboys T-shirt – Staff, ESPN

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was fined $13,659 by the NFL for using offensive language on a Dallas Cowboys jersey Sunday night, a source told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler on Friday.

Kittle wore the jersey under his red #85 jersey during the Niners’ 42-10 win over the Cowboys. Gray’s jersey featured “F— Dallas” in blue letters, and Kittle unveiled it while celebrating running back Jordan Mason’s 26-yard touchdown catch early in the fourth quarter. Kittle said Thursday that he knew he would likely have to pay for his clothing choice.

“Probably to get fined,” Kittle said. „I liked the personalized T-shirt, maybe an inappropriate word. So it is what it is. It was my decision. If they want to fine me, they will fine me.”
