Dallas Cowboys are bringing country music legend Dolly Parton to perform at their Thanksgiving halftime show this year

The country legend will be featured in the 26th edition of the halftime program

There are three NFL games on Thanksgiving Sunday, all on national television

On November 23, country music legend Dolly Parton will perform at halftime of the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving game, also known as the Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff.

The Cowboys host the Washington Commander at 4:30 ET. The game is one of three Thanksgiving games and will air on CBS.

The video shows the Cowboys Cheerleaders rocking a Cowboys helmet, a football, a Salvation Army bucket and a shirt with “Parton” on the back. Then it hits Parton himself in shiny Cowboys gear. “See you this Thanksgiving,” Parton says in the campaign.

“Can’t wait to see everyone at the Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show during the Dallas Cowboys game. Tune into CBS Sports on Thanksgiving, November 23rd at 3:30pm CST for an exciting show,” Parton wrote.

Cowboys Thanksgiving Halftime is the most watched halftime show after the Super Bowl.

Parton joins a host of country acts to star in the show, including Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. The game also featured artists from various genres such as Selena Gomez, Jonas Brothers, Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull.

Since the tradition began in 1966, the Cowboys have won 31 of 54 Turkey Day games. The first Cowboys Thanksgiving halftime game in 1997 featured “Queen of Country” Reba McEntire.

26 years later, another country icon and 12-time Grammy winner takes the stage in front of 80,000 live spectators and millions of television viewers.
