The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6 to improve to 4-2, despite the game possibly not being very dominant.

With the Philadelphia Eagles’ loss to the New York Jets, this victory was timely for their position in the NFC East.

The Cowboys and Eagles will compete for the division title for the remainder of the season as they are only one game apart.

While fans are anticipating an exciting fight, Nick Wright just shared his predictions for the next few weeks.

Wright stated on “First Things First” that there was “a very good argument that the Cowboys are going to be in first place by Thanksgiving.”

Wright arranged the schedules for both teams over the next few weeks.

The Cowboys have a bye followed by a game against the Eagles, followed by a game against the Giants next week.

The Eagles play the Miami Dolphins, followed by the Washington Commanders and Cowboys, and then have their bye.

If the Cowboys can play perfect football in the next two games and the Eagles falter, Wright believes the Cowboys will be in first place.

By losing to the Jets, the Eagles not only proved their mettle, but gave teams a blueprint to keep them in games. Jalen Hurts had to throw a lot during this game and threw three interceptions as a result.

If the two opponents of the Cowboys and Eagles in the next two weeks can put significant pressure on Hurts, it could lead to a run for the Cowboys and put them in the lead in the series.
