BREAKING:New York Giants poach player from rival after putting painful training injury on IR

The Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman was placed on injured reserve by the New York Giants after suffering a frustrating injury in practice this week.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Giants placed second-year offensive lineman Shane Lemieux on injured reserve after suffering a bicep injury in practice on Wednesday. The Cowboys poached Sean Harlow from the Cowboys’ practice squad to take Lemieux’s place.

Lemieux played in two games for the Giants this season, starting one, as the Giants dealt with injuries along the offensive line early in the season.

Harlow is a veteran interior offensive lineman. He was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Harlow spent part of training camp with the Giants before they released him in August. Harlow then signed with the Cowboys practice squad.
