During the 2023 season, NFL Network analysts will offer one bold prediction for each week’s roster (see full Week 7 schedule).

The Lions have won four straight games, but the streak will be stopped on Sunday in Baltimore. There’s this guy named Lamar Jackson – maybe you’ve heard of him? The 2019 league MVP had his best game of the season, outpacing the Lions — who are eighth in the NFL in rushing yards per game but now dealing with an injury to David Montgomery — and passing Jared Goff in passing yards.

Giants rookie Jalin Hyatt got more playing time last week, running the most routes for New York. Now he gets the Commanders, who have given up the most yards to receivers, and they especially struggle against spreaders who line up and run the deep ball. Hyatt is the Giants’ best way to take advantage of that. He finishes with 100 yards and a TD..

The Dolphins have had a historic offense this season, but when they faced the Bills’ stout defense in Week 4, the Finns were stunned. Miami scored a season-low 20 points and Tua Tagovailoa had four sacks. In comparison, in all other games combined, Tua was sacked twice. I expect a similar performance from the Eagles defense, which will hold Mike McDaniel’s unit to under 20 points for the first time this season on Sunday night. Additionally, rookie Jalen Carter, who recorded two sacks, is returning from injury.

Tyreek Hill’s season right now is somewhere between historic and superhuman. He averages 135.7 yards per game and has 814 yards — 186 of 1,000 on the season. My prediction? Hill’s touchdowns mark the Eagles’ best game in Week 7, becoming the fastest (no pun intended) player to reach the millennium mark in NFL history. The craziest part of this: It’s not even that bold, as Hill has already topped 150 yards four times in 2023.

David Carr

The 49ers defense has outplayed the Vikings unit in every aspect this season, ranking first in points and interceptions and in the top five in yards per game. However, Brian Flores’ D will come into play Monday night against the Niners offense and force more plays than San Francisco, causing an upset in Minnesota.

Joel Smyth

Remember the pre-Christian McCaffrey era in San Francisco when the 49ers seemed to have a new starting lineup every week? It happened with Mike McDaniel coordinating the ground game. In his first season as Dolphins head coach, McDaniel acquired Jeff Wilson Jr. of the 49ers in the offseason. After that exchange, Wilson had more touches than Raheem Mostert in the games the two defenders played together last season. Against the Eagles on Sunday Night Football, Wilson will pass Mostert as a fantasy front in his first game of 2023. Either way, the Dolphins offense is productive enough to produce two top-10 fantasy quarterbacks. Marcus Grant

Over the past three seasons, the Chargers and Chiefs have averaged 54.3 points per game in six games. This week looks to be no different. Patrick Mahomes should take advantage of the Bolts’ questionable secondary and force Justin Herbert to beat him. Expect fireworks at Arrowhead as these two star guards combine for eight hits.
