Let’s start big, shall we? According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool are ready to make a huge contract offer to PSG this January for none other than Kylian Mbappe to convince him to move when his contract in France expires next summer.
It’s certainly exciting, but let’s all be honest: it’s not happening.
Jamal Musiala
Earlier this week it was reported that Liverpool were interested in Bayern Munich prodigy Jamal Musiala after his contract talks in Bavaria stalled.
However, TZ say the young attacking midfielder is not particularly interested in a move to Merseyside and wants to win more trophies with Bayern. Boo….
Victor Osimhen
The update also revealed that the Reds could make a bid for Napoli superstar Victor Osimhen. Valter De Maggio claims Liverpool and Osimhen have already “reached an agreement” after the Reds hijacked the striker’s contract talks at Napoli.
According to Calciomercato, Napoli can expect €100m (£87m) from the sale of Osimheni when the former Lille man’s contract expires in 2025.
Andre Trindade
Arsenal are in the running for Liverpool target Andre Trindade, according to 90min. The Reds made inquiries about the 22-year-old in the summer but were rebuffed by his club Fluminense, preferring to wait for winter sales.
According to the report, Gunners transfer boss Edu has been on a scouting trip to his homeland and wants Andrea to cover the midfield.
Kaoru Mitoma
Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma has signed a new contract at the Amex Stadium, reducing interest from Liverpool and other suitors in the process. This is the claim of the London world anyway.
