Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys being treated in a “unique” way by the NFL community? Without a doubt.

Is it “unfair” as well? That’s a strong belief held by teammate Micah Parsons, and now Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy is adding his voice to the chorus.

McCarthy claimed that “the intensity of the microscope” that Dak is subjected to is practically unheard of during an appearance on Mad Dog Radio this week.

McCarthy remarked, “I adore Dak Prescott as our quarterback.” “I believe that he has developed throughout, and it is clear that he has a very strong physical skill set. But in contrast to the other 31 (starting quarterbacks), what he goes through psychologically and emotionally is different.

Does “unique” imply “unfair”? McCarthy is obviously implying that here.

Speaking his experience working with great quarterbacks, McCarthy stated, “I’ve never seen a quarterback under a microscope like he is.” McCarthy has worked with quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, Joe Montana, and others. “I think it’s special what he has to endure—how he handles and navigates all that, and he goes out and performs every week.”

As an illustration, Cowboys Nation (and Micah) could point out that this week, there has been more talk about Dak’s (possible) mistakes in his team’s victory over the Chargers than there has been about Jalen Hurts’ three interceptions in the Eagles’ stunning loss to the Jets.

McCarthy, who is, incidentally, under the same kind of “microscope” as the head coach of “America’s Team,” declared, “I’ve never seen anything like it.” “You have to be different to cope with that because he is so constant in his approach to preparation, which is pretty much the same every day. I’ve never seen anything like the ferocity of this.
