Liverpool return to the Europa League on Thursday night. The Reds want to continue their winning streak in Group E with three points against Toulouse.
Mohamed Salah secured Liverpool’s 2-0 win in the Merseyside derby last weekend to keep the Reds in the Premier League title. But attention now turns to the Europa League, where Jurgen Kloppand’s side welcome Toulouse to Anfield.
The Reds beat Union SG 2-0 in their last Europa League game, with Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota both getting on the scoresheet. Liverpool and Toulouse last met in 2007 when the Reds won 5-0 in Champions League qualifying.

The visitors made a spring start against a struggling Liverpool side and almost took the lead in the 9th minute when Thijs Dallinga parried Caoimhín Kelleher and fired home, but Joe Gomez produced a stunning display to keep them out. 0-0. Alexis Mac Allister won the ball from the bench just inside the Liverpool half but missed his marker and kicked the ball into the path of Jota. The striker raced towards goal and fired from a tight angle to make it 2-0 and make it three from three in Group E.
