For George Kittle and his wife, Claire, it was a relaxing bye week.
The wife of the 49ers’ star tight end shared an intimate look of the couple’s gorgeous retreat in Montana on Instagram, where they took in the vistas, cuddled up by the fire, and relaxed in a hot tub.
“Traveling to new places with you >>>,” Claire posted a series of photos on Sunday, prompting Kittle to respond, “You are my favorite.”

The Kittles, who married in 2019, can be seen sitting in a jacuzzi and kissing by the water in the images.
The bye week came just when the 49ers needed it after losing three straight games after starting 5-0.
The 49ers’ most recent victory occurred in Week 5, when they defeated the Cowboys 42-10 in primetime.
Kittle, 30, scored three touchdowns in San Francisco’s rout.
The victory lap, however, was short-lived, as the Browns handed the 49ers their first loss of the season the following week.
The 49ers then lost back-to-back games against the Vikings and Bengals.
As the squad prepared for the bye week, head coach Kyle Shanahan urged them, “We have to get better in every aspect.”
“Some of the fundamentals, such as throwing and catching and tackling, disappointed me.” And some of those penalties hurt us,” Shanahan said after the Bengals’ 31-17 loss on Oct. 29.
This week, the 49ers (5-3) travel to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars (6-2), who are also coming off a bye week.
