The San Francisco 49ers are getting ready for their Week 10 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida, on Sunday.
Trent Williams’ comeback was the biggest story from Thursday’s practice. The offensive lineman had not practiced since suffering an ankle injury against the Cleveland Browns on October 15. Williams took part in the session only to a limited extent on Thursday.
Williams had extra tape on his still-healing right ankle but appeared to be moving around OK at the start of practice, according to The Athletic’s Matt Barrows. “Today is the team’s most rigorous session of the week.”
Meanwhile, Deebo Samuel has continued to participate fully in practice, indicating that he will likely return from the hairline fracture in his shoulder that has held him out of the lineup for the past two games.
Linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (ankle) and defensive tackle Javon Hargrave (knee) have joined the injury list.
The 49ers Communications staff supplied the following practice participation reports for the 49ers and Jaguars on Thursday.
