The Jacksonville Jaguars and the San Francisco 49ers could hardly be further apart.

After opening 1-3, the Jaguars are on a five-game winning streak. After starting 5-0, the 49ers lost three straight games before their bye week.

Both teams were supposed to be league leaders, but they now meet in quite different circumstances. The 49ers are attempting to establish themselves as a top-tier team, while Jacksonville is attempting to establish itself as an AFC powerhouse.

Here are five San Francisco 49ers players who could cause issues for the Jaguars in Week 10:

RB Christian McAfee

McCaffrey is not only the most dangerous player on his team’s offense, but also the league’s most dangerous non-quarterback.

McCaffrey was already considered the top running back in the NFL before moving to San Francisco, but he’s risen much higher since then. He gives the 49ers’ offense a reliable pass catcher as well as a powerful rusher.

On 137 runs, the former Carolina Panthers running back has 652 yards and nine touchdowns. He also has 32 receptions for 292 yards and four touchdowns.

McCaffrey is always going to put up excellent numbers when 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan calls the plays.

WR Brandon Aiyuk,

Brandon Aiyuk has gone from overlooked gem to possible top 10 receiver in seven games this season.

Aiyuk excels at separating and making good receptions through contact. This, paired with his outstanding speed, allows him to always break a play for a massive gain.

Aiyuk has 35 receptions for 620 yards and two touchdowns this season. He’s quarterback Brock Purdy’s favorite target, making him the Bay Area’s most dangerous pass catcher.

DE. Nick Bosa,

Edge rusher Chase Young has yet to appear in a game for the 49ers. Despite this, Young has the potential to have a huge impact on the game versus the Jaguars.

Young will be playing with a pass rusher of Bosa’s level for the first time. It could also pay off.

Young was a brilliant player in college, but injuries have limited his ability to stop rival teams in recent seasons. He should be in top form now that he’s healthy and on a great defense.

LB. Fred Warner

Linebacker Fred Warner is one of the greatest in the league. He’s a sure tackler and a decent run supporter, but his coverage skills set him apart from the rest of the league’s linebackers.

This season, Warner has 71 total tackles. He’s also had two sacks, two forced fumbles, two interceptions, and five passes deflected.

Warner is capable of limiting all of the Jaguars’ skill players. He has the ability to get to quarterback Trevor Lawrence, suffocate the dynamic Travis Etienne Jr., and eliminate the center of the field.

DR. Chase Young

Edge rusher Chase Young has yet to appear in a game for the 49ers. Despite this, Young has the potential to have a huge impact on the game versus the Jaguars.

Young will be playing with a pass rusher of Bosa’s level for the first time. It could also pay off.
