Good News for Liverpool Fans as  Man City Could be Without 3 Players for Next Week EPL clash

When Manchester City plays Liverpool in the Premier League the next weekend, a handful of injured players may not be available.

Ederson, Manchester City’s first-choice goalkeeper, might be sidelined for the Premier League match against Liverpool later this month.

On November 25, Pep Guardiola’s treble-winning team, Manchester City, will visit Liverpool in East Manchester. After 12 games, the Reds are only one point behind City in the Premier League standings.

Ederson participated in Sunday’s thrilling 4–4 draw between Manchester City and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but he now has to race against time to recover in time to play Liverpool after formally withdrawing from the Brazilian team due to a foot injury. For manager Pep Guardiola, this might be the next setback in a lengthy series of absences.

Kevin de Bruyne, the Cityzens’ talisman, is already out for the season due to a recurrence of his hamstring injury, which he sustained during the team’s Champions League final victory against Inter Milan last season.

Defender-turned-midfielder John Stones is also going to be absent for Manchester City on November 25 after suffering a muscle injury during last week’s 3-0 triumph over Young Boys in the Champions League.

Although manager Pep Guardiola allayed concerns that Stones may miss a significant amount of time due to injury, he acknowledged he had no idea if the England international would be ready for Liverpool’s visit to the Etihad the following weekend.

Guardiola remarked, “The doctor says it’s not as bad (as first thought), but still I don’t know.” “He will return as soon as he is fit again.”

Due to an injury, Sergio Gomez, a defender, is also expected to miss the match.
