In Week 10, the San Francisco 49ers destroyed the Jacksonville Jaguars, taking care of business.

The Niners have a 98 percent chance of qualifying for the postseason, an 86 percent chance of winning the NFC West, but just a 16 percent chance of earning the top seed, leaving them with a 13 percent chance of winning the Super Bowl, according to the New York Times’ playoff simulator.

The Philadelphia Eagles currently have a 62 percent chance of finishing as the NFL’s top seed. The Lions of Detroit are 16 percent. In Week 10, Detroit held off the Chargers to maintain one game ahead of San Francisco as the Eagles had a bye week.

The New Orleans Saints, who had to play Jameis Winston, were the only club in the top seven to lose.

As we approach Week 11, here is a comprehensive look at the NFC side of the NFL playoff scenario.

NFC PLAYOFF PICTURE THE TOP SEVEN DIVISION LEADERS

1. Philadelphia Eagles (8-1)

2. Detroit Lions (7-2)

3. San Francisco 49ers (6-3, NFC West division tiebreaker)

4. New Orleans Saints (5-5)

WILD CARDS

5. Seattle Seahawks (6-3, 5-1 NFC)

6. Dallas Cowboys (6-3, 3-3 NFC)

7. Minnesota Vikings (6-4)

Still alive

8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5)

9. Washington Commanders (4-6, win over ATL)

10. Atlanta Falcons (4-6)

11. Green Bay Packers (3-6)

12. Los Angeles Rams (3-6)

Thinking about next season

13. Chicago Bears (3-7)

14. New York Giants (2-8, win over AZ)

15. Arizona Cardinals (2-8)

16. Carolina Panthers (1-8)

This week, the Lions take on the Bears, and on Thanksgiving, they play the Packers. Therefore, it’s doubtful that they’ll make a mistake in the upcoming few weeks.

Not as lucky for Philly, though, since they play the Chiefs on Monday Night Football before hosting the Buffalo Bills, who just lost on national television and fired their offensive coordinator. Before the 49ers’ NFC Championship rematch with the Eagles in three weeks, hopefully, they vent their anger on the team.

What a joke the NFC South is. which implies they’ll manage to smuggle in two playoff teams. However, Josh Dobbs seems to be a hybrid of Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes, meaning the Vikings will never lose again.

Although Seattle managed to defeat the Commanders, there are still issues with the Seahawks. Their 75% chance of qualifying for the playoffs speaks more about the conference than it does about them.
