When the 49ers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11 at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, they are as healthy as they can be.
After taking a break on Wednesday, Trent Williams, who has been struggling with an ankle injury, returned to practice. At the early part of practice that was open to the media, the All-Pro left tackle was spotted on the field going about his regular business.
After suffering a season-ending tear in his biceps during the team’s victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10, offensive lineman Nick Zakelj of the 49ers will be placed on injured reserve. The official transaction and associated relocation must be made by Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. PT at the latest by the front office.
Guard Aaron Banks has made progress toward his comeback, but San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan revealed on Wednesday that Banks will miss another game because of turf toe. In Banks’ absence, John Feliciano will continue to play left guard.
