Both teams are coming off strong Week 12 wins, with Philadelphia defeating the Buffalo Bills in overtime in the rain, and the Niners taking care of business in Seattle with a 31-13 victory over the Seahawks on Thanksgiving.
The Niners have the benefit in terms of rest, having had an extra week off after playing on Thanksgiving. Will weariness be an issue for Philadelphia? The Eagles played 92 snaps in the overtime win.
The Eagles defense will target Niners quarterback Brock Purdy, who is in good shape and leads the NFL in passing rating (112.3), yards per attempt (9.4), and completion % (70.2).
Philadelphia is vying for the No. 1 spot in the NFC playoff picture, and they’ll need quarterback Jalen Hurts to keep up his MVP-like performance. He has won 14 consecutive games against clubs with winning records.
The Eagles’ only loss so far this season came at the hands of the New York Jets in Week 6.
