Big Dom took 49ers LB Dre Greenlaw away from Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith.

Big Dom, the Philadelphia Eagles’ top security officer, was expelled from the team’s home loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field after a sideline brawl with linebacker Dre Greenlaw, who was also ejected.

DiSandro, 45, yanked Greenlaw, 26, off Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith after a third-quarter catch. The 49ers linebacker replied by striking Big Dom in the face softly.

As DiSandro proceeded to the tunnel, Eagles supporters gave him a standing ovation. Big Dom reappeared shortly after to meet the team as they entered the locker room following their defeat.

DiSandro has been with the Eagles for nearly 25 years, and while he is frequently seen with players in Philly, nothing is known about him.

Who is the Eagles security, Dom DiSandro?

Big Dom is in charge of the organization’s safety and also acts as a senior consultant to Eagles general manager Howie Roseman.

DiSandro reportedly “provides education on the NFL’s personal conduct policy,” according to the Associated Press.

“DOM is a legend lol been there since Andy [Reid] took over the Eagles,” tweeted former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, who is now an FS1 analyst.
