Deebo Samuel, the San Francisco 49ers’ top wide receiver, scorched the Philadelphia Eagles with three touchdowns and still has more to say.

Samuel revealed whether or not he wants to witness a rematch in the NFC Championship Game in January 2024. The 49ers fell short in the title game the last time they met, but San Francisco returned the favor in Week 13 with a 42-19 victory.

To snare the NFC’s top playoff seed and bye, San Francisco (9-3) must now run the table and the Eagles (10-2) must lose one more time. Unless a major shock occurs in the Wild Card or Divisional rounds, the 49ers and Eagles might be on a collision track to the NFC Championship Game.

The Eagles face the Dallas Cowboys (9-3), who nearly beat them last time out in a 28-23 loss. Samuel told Adams about his team’s hopes.

“We definitely want the Cowboys to win that game,” he stated. “At the end of the day, we’re fighting for the No. 1 seed.”

San Francisco must take care of business against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14. The 49ers won the previous matchup 31-13 in Week 12 on Thanksgiving Day.

“We know we got another tough task coming up this week with, you know, Seattle coming off a tough loss against the Cowboys, which they played an outstanding game against,” Samuel told the media.

“We know we just have to keep our foot on the gas to get where we want to go.” “Simply keep going,” Samuel added.

Deebo Samuel Admits Week 13 Game vs. Eagles Was ‘Different’

When it came to the Week 13 Eagles game meaning something for Samuel and company, Adams said 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy spilled the beans.

“That’s right. But, you know, they beat us in the NFC Championship,” Samuel said. “We understood what happened there, and you know, we didn’t have a fair opportunity, so… was just a little different.”

“And so , we went in there and … we kind of treated it like another game, but we knew it was a little bit more to this game because of what happened last year,” he said.

After injuries to Purdy and former backup quarterback Josh Johnson in the NFC Championship Game, the 49ers’ offense couldn’t get going. The 49ers offense took off with six straight scoring drives in Week 13, and things seem significantly different.

“I believe we had a negative three yards.” We had one of the worst first quarters in team history.”But I know that once we got settled in and started rolling and doing what we were supposed to do, everything just started clicking,” Samuel explained.

Deebo Samuel Weighs in on Brock Purdy’s MVP Chances

Purdy’s domination has fueled MVP speculation, and Samuel addresses his prospects.

“Right now, my boy No. 1.” “It’s not even debatable,” Samuel replied.”We got to go out here and continue to make plays for him, and I think he get the job done for us …. but I don’t think that’s his ideal goal.”

“I think at the end of the day as a whole, as a group as a, you know, as a team, we want to be … standing at the of the year holding the Lombardi Trophy,” he said.
