The 49ers made headlines for their physicality in their Week 13 victory over the Eagles, with linebacker Dre Greenlaw being ejected for a sideline brawl with Philadelphia’s chief of security.

They were at it again in Week 14, prompting a brawl that resulted in the ejection of both Seahawks star DK Metcalf and 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir late in San Francisco’s victory.

With 3:24 remaining in Sunday’s NFC West rematch against Seattle, the 49ers all but sealed the game – and season sweep – when linebacker Fred Warner intercepted a ball from Drew Lock to Metcalf. However, Warner continued to move as Metcalf wrapped him up, prepared to lateral the ball to a teammate, and Metcalf proceeded to hoist Warner up and pull him to the ground. Warner, enraged by the tackle, returned instantly by launching toward Metcalf’s upper torso and knocking the wideout to the ground.

Metcalf then pursued Warner and grasped his face mask in defiance until Lenoir walked in and shoved him. Metcalf and Lenoir were subsequently removed, but Warner was not penalized for his role in the incident.

Metcalf was seen going to the locker room following his ejection, and the 49ers went on to win with a seven-play drive to run out the time. Their victory moves them to 10-3, keeping them in contention for the NFC’s top playoff berth.
