Linebacker Michah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys accused the media of taking pleasure in the team’s collapse after its lopsided loss against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Parsons discussed the reasons behind the 31-10 defeat in his podcast, The Edge. But before that, he spared a few words to blast “fake analysts” for their criticism of the Cowboys this week.

Parsons remarked, “I don’t understand why everyone just waits for the Cowboys to lose.” “I witnessed several fake analysts, who were hired by someone to work on TV, telling people, ‘There goes your boy.'” The fact that past players are waiting for current players to falter so they have something to talk about is getting to the point where it’s nearly unhealthy.

“Its not even to just get into names. I feel like at this point, you kinda know who you are.”

Parsons then spoke to the narrative around quarterback Dak Prescott, who had a run of strong games during the team’s five-game winning streak, but only mustered 134 passing yards and one interception.

“Oh my goodness, there he is.” “That’s the individual we’ve been anticipating,” Parsons said. “What makes you desire someone to lose so badly? I believe I enjoy the game. I don’t want to see Josh Allen suffer injuries at the end of the day, regardless of who I’m portraying. I don’t want him to fall short. I hope he pursues his career further. Of course, my goal is to beat him when we’re playing and lined up (against each other). However, it appears that many individuals are merely waiting for others to fail.

This is not the first time Parsons has defended Prescott on his podcast. After the team’s victory over the Los Angeles Chargers earlier in the season—their first since a 42–10 thrashing at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers—he took the same action.
