Miami Dolphins change their stance on Tyreek Hill’s availability. hours before Dallas Cowboys clash

Regarding Tyreek Hill’s status for the Miami Dolphins’ Christmas Eve game against the Dallas Cowboys, the team changed their stance on Saturday night. The Dolphins’ injury report for their game against the Cowboys on Friday indicated that Hill would be questionable to play after a video of Hill limping during practice surfaced on social media.

The NFL MVP candidate and standout wide receiver, Hill, was granted permission by the Dolphins to skip their Week 15 matchup with the New York Jets. With one month until the playoffs, the Dolphins wanted to make sure Hill didn’t injure his ankle any more.

Hill arrived for warm-ups but was declared ineligible to play against the Jets.

The Miami Dolphins change their view on playing Hill

In Week 16, the Dolphins’ decision to sit Hill out of caution appears to have changed. As they did last week, the Dolphins will make sure Hill is cleared to play before adding him to their inactive list, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The Dolphins, though, are confident he can play against the Cowboys.

The footage that went viral on Friday revealed that Hill’s ankle isn’t completely healed. However, compared to the poor Jets, the Dolphins are more ready to take a chance on an injury when playing a playoff contender like the Cowboys.

Does Hill’s ankle really get any better? Or do the Dolphins see themselves as needing to win this Sunday’s game against a more formidable opponent where Hill can make a difference in order to secure the AFC East and improve their postseason seeding?

On Sunday, out on the field, we might discover the solution. It is the Dolphins’ hope that facing Hill on Christmas Eve won’t be a hindrance come January.
