The Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers will play on Christmas Eve in a game that should be a strong candidate for game of the year.

Both clubs have a ton of interesting tales to offer, such as the MVP competition, which has probably come down to quarterbacks Lamar Jackson of Baltimore and Brock Purdy of San Francisco.

The 49ers’ offense, led by Purdy, has been extremely potent throughout the 2023 NFL season, and the Ravens must exert every effort to slow it down. In response to a question concerning Purdy, the head coach of Baltimore commended the former Iowa State signal-caller, calling him a “excellent quarterback.”

“All right, with Brock Purdy I think the quarterback is excellent. He’s guiding a very good offense to amazing success while playing at a very high level. He plays winning football and goes about things his way. He observes stuff. He removes the ball quickly. He is capable of making every throw. He moves well in the pocket, scrambles when necessary, throws on the run when necessary, and runs the offense with accuracy. These are all qualities that their coaches, I’m sure, highly value in a quarterback. He must be doing incredibly well. Thus, all we have to do is stop the offensive. He participates in the offense.
