The MVP competition is intensifying as the league nears the last few weeks of the 2023 regular season.Although Brock Purdy had the advantage in the race, many people—including Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons—are doubting Purdy’s legitimacy to be discussed as the MVP after his appalling performance in the 49ers’ loss to the Baltimore Ravens in week 16.

Parsons has consistently questioned Purdy’s MVP eligibility because he suggests that the second-year quarterback is incapable of leading the Niners to a thrilling victory. However, prior to his four interceptions against the Ravens, Purdy was enjoying a fantastic season with the Niners. Parsons has now taken advantage of the chance to criticize the Niners head coach.
