The Dolphins could potentially have another turnover in Week 18 against the Bills.

The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are set to conclude the NFL regular season when they meet in the unofficial AFC East championship Sunday night at Hard Rock Stadium.

However, the Dolphins will have to deal with some serious injury issues ahead of the big game.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Monday he has no plans to play Pro Bowl cornerback Xavien Howard on Sunday due to a foot injury.

However, Howard has not been officially ruled out. A four-time Pro Bowler and one-time Pro Bowler, Howard played in 100 career games and made 99 starts for Miami.

During that span, he recorded 331 tackles, two sacks, four forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, 95 passes defended, 29 interceptions and four touchdowns.

He led the league in interceptions in 2018 and 2020 with seven and 10, respectively.

With all the experience likely to be lost in Miami’s Week 18 secondary, the Bills and quarterback Josh Allen will have less to worry about against a Dolphins defense that gave up 56 points and five passing touchdowns in a blowout loss on sunday
