Despite Diggs' recent lack of production, Bills coach Sean McDermott still believes the three-time Pro Bowl selection is essential to their success.

The Bills want to get Diggs back on track.

Stefon Diggs has been one of the best and most productive receivers in the NFL since joining the Buffalo Bills in 2020, but he has been on a losing streak as of late.

Diggs, who topped 100 receiving yards in five of his first six games this season, hasn’t reached triple figures since Oct. 15.

Stefon gigs brings energy to the team

In the next 10 games, he had just 476 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He’s been particularly quiet since the Bills returned from their bye week.

That’s because he hasn’t had more than 50 yards in any of his four games since then.

Despite Diggs’ recent lack of production, Bills coach Sean McDermott still believes the three-time Pro Bowl selection is essential to their success.

“He is an important factor for us. He brings a lot of energy and vitality to our team and offense.”

McDermott said in an interview with Pro Football Talk. “He is a valuable member of our team, especially our offensive line, and we will need him here.”

McDermott added that Diggs’ recent decline has more to do with opposing defenses paying more attention to him than an intentional decision.

“It’s just Josh [Allen] reading the book and moving forward,” McDermott said.

“The last two games he hasn’t been as involved as we would like.”

With the playoffs just around the corner and the Bills still fighting for a spot, getting Diggs back on track will be one of the top priorities for Buffalo’s offense.
