Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey are two of the most well-known couples in sports today.

The former Miss Universe and the San Francisco 49ers running back revealed their engagement earlier this year with a set of black-and-white Instagram photos. Although the wedding has not yet been scheduled, it will take place in Rhode Island, her home state.

Culpo returned to Instagram as 2024 got underway and the NFL season was coming to an end to share a few shots from a picture shoot with Bulgari (commonly stylized as BVLGARI). The $7,500 yellow-gold Serpenti snake necklace is prominently displayed in the photos.

Kyle Shanahan confident in Christian McCaffrey returning for playoffs after Week 18 absence vs. Rams

Fans of Christian McCaffrey will be disappointed to learn that he will not be participating in the season finale versus the Los Angeles Rams, an in-state rival. During the team’s Week 17 victory against the Washington Commanders, McCaffrey suffered a calf strain.

“I didn’t want to enter there and exacerbate the situation. You can’t be a moron about some things,” McCaffrey stated.

Furthermore, Kyle Shanahan has chosen to rest him despite already securing the NFC’s top seed and first-round bye.

But as he told reporters on Tuesday, the head coach anticipates his brilliant dual-threat running back to make a comeback in the Divisional Round:

“We have a lot of confidence in that. The news was favorable. Several things may have gone wrong. We’re glad they’ll look after him this week, and maybe next week, when we’re off, he’ll start getting to go.”

Despite impending Week 18 absence, Christian McCaffrey tipped to win first-ever rushing title

By the time the final horn sounds this coming Sunday, McCaffrey will already have one career first: the rushing crown, even as he rests on the sidelines.

By the time the final horn sounds this coming Sunday, McCaffrey will already have one career first: the rushing crown, even as he rests on the sidelines.

According to The Athletic’s David Lombardi, he has embarrassed his opponents with a league-best 1,459 running yards, having already surpassed or equaled many NFL records in his first full season as a 49er. To put things in perspective, Kyren Williams, who is 315 yards behind, is the next-most prolific rusher.

Although the sophomore’s Rams have already guaranteed themselves a spot in the NFC West at the very least, he still has a remote possibility of taking home the title for rushing yards. But doing so might require momentarily downplaying the importance of Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, Tutu Atwell, and tight end Tyler Higbee.
